Kellie Martin (born Kellie Marien) is well-known American actress. She's appeared in numerous TV series, including "Christy" which is a drama about a young woman known as Christy Huddleston. Her other notable roles include the lead role in the Hailey Dean Mystery series. Born to a department-store buyer and a kindergarten teacher, Martin was able to begin her career in acting at the young age of seven when her aunt, who was a nanny for actor Michael Landon's kids, assisted her in landing a guest spot in the 1982 series "Father Murphy.". After she graduated from Yale University in 1982, Martin began to take her acting profession more than just a hobby. She was able to land important roles on TV as well as the big screen. Martin as well as being a skilled actor and dancer, she is also a successful ballet photographer. Two daughters are hers and a son, she is also the Lupus spokesperson and spreads awareness of the illness each day following the passing of her sister at 19 years old.
